 T R A N S I T - L I S T S

Here are transit lists for each month through to April 2004. The dates and times provided are in GMT (Greenwich Mean Time). You've a choice of Geocentric or Heliocentric transits. Don't forget to add or subtract time to represent the time zone you're working with. Here's a Time & Date website.

Each geocentric monthly transit list is four pages long (app 120kb); the heliocentric lists are two pages (app. 50kb). Abbreviated terms used on the lists are explained below. A listing of a planet conjunct a sign means that planet is ingressing, or entering that astrological sign.

There are a multitude of applications for the information provided on these lists. I've primarily included these lists for some individuals who are investigating the value of using transits to forecast trading trends and changes in various markets. These lists detail a generic atmosphere experienced globally; if venus is square saturn on a given day, this can be observed as a background influence everywhere. To obtain more detailed understanding of how a venus square saturn might influence a company stock, you can compare the current transit positions of planets with the positions of planets on a company's Incorporation or Trading chart. Two exponents in the field of Financial Astrology are Ray Merriman and Bill Meridian.

A favourite book on Transit Interpretation is "Planets in Transit" by Robert Hand; for Mundane students I'd recommend "Working With Astrology - The Psychology of Midpoints, Harmonics and Astro*Carto*Graphy" by Michael Harding & Charles Harvey.
